 I am losing faith that Alice will ever make it to DVD November 17, 2008
Well, I too own the 6 episode compilation show...yes I was one of the ones who voted for the few episodes that were released. I have about 100 episodes on VHS from back in the 90's (E!TV). I noticed that the manufacture has discontinued this DVD, so I am afraid that we are screwed for ever seeing this show come to DVD. I grew up with Alice from the time I was 11...now 43, and this is one of my all time favorite shows ever. I love these characters as if they were my friends. How can a show which was on for 9 seasons never make it to DVD? Thanks Warner Bros for totally dashing our dreams! Alice we will always love you!

I sure was nice seeing Alice again after these years.
It was like watching Alice for the very 1st time.
I do recommend Alice to those who have watched it when it was on TV.
I am looking forward to season 1 of Alice when it come avable to buy. I will sure buy it.

I still see no reason why the many, many episodes of Alice are not on DVD. One of my all-time favorites growing up in the mid-late 70's and early 80's. Alice IS my TV childhood!
I still think this show is funny at age 38, genuinely funny, not just the nostalgic kick Gilligan's Island and The Brady Bunch offer at this point.
In any case 83 reviews have been added, which I would think, would speak to how badly people want this. And this DVD is just a short handful of episodes for $7.
I can only hope the seasons are produced and released some day. Here's to hoping!
