3 out of 5 stars Mindless entertainment   January 8, 2009
This movie serves just one purpose: to appeal to women ultimate girly side. It is literally a Vogue movie-where the idea that ordinary women actually can have million dollar wardrobes, incredible apartments in a fabulous city all supported by a job that couldn't possibly support such a lifestyle. Carrie would have to be a more famous writer than the script is leading on. But onto the main story between Carrie and Mr. Big. The wedding. Is it me or did the whole thing just feel contrived? The whole plot was carried by the fact that Carrie just wouldn't talk to Big. That's it. Now even that doesn't sound believable. The resolution: she sees him-and everything is all right. Uh huh. Is it any surprise that control freak-Miranda and her wimpy boyfriend hit a big patch in the road? Does anyone believe that peace will last for long? I can't see what Steve sees in this pushy, bossy woman in the first place. Charlotte was tolerable because she didn't have anything to contribute to the film and Samantha NEEDS to settle down because she's two seconds away from everything on her body to start sagging permanently--and I definitely don't want to see that on the big screen. Frankly, this franchise needs to experiment with a new group of girls. It's time.

5 out of 5 stars sex and the city movie   January 7, 2009
i loved it, but then again, i would watch these women read the phone book for 2 hours! just a terrific continuation of one of my favorite shows.

5 out of 5 stars Loved It!   January 7, 2009
I really loved watching the girls in a full length movie. The fashion was great and every one lived up to their full reputation...except I expected more uumph from Jennifer Hudson.

5 out of 5 stars so happy it was good!   January 3, 2009
I was worried it wouldn't be good and boy was I worried for nothing! I have never laughed and cried so much from a movie before. I have watched this movie repeatedly and still have as much fun as the first time!

5 out of 5 stars A Must add to your "BFF" collection   December 31, 2008
I waited to watch the ladies because I heard so many mixed reviews of the movie. So one day with nothing to do and a lot of time on my hands I watched..and I couldnt understand how one person was dissappointed by this movie. It answered every question that we always wanted to know once the series ended and I fell back in love with every character just like it was a Sunday night in front of the t.v. 4 years ago. If you are a die hard S&TC fan you will melt at the way the BOND remains the same between the ladies after all of thier life changes..true the addition of Carries assistant threw it off a little.. but a little extra never hurt anyone. I am glad I watched it was well worth the wait!
