A great professional boxing compilation DVD December 5, 2008 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
I bought this mainly for the full and uncut Sugar Ray Robinson vs. Jake LaMotta St Valentines Day Massacre fight, but I was really impressed with the job ESPN did on compiling some of the greatest fights and rivalries throughout the history of professional boxing. I really enjoyed the old footage of Dempsey vs. Tunney and Louis vs. Schmeling, I had never seen this footage before and it was really interesting to watch. Overall, the entire 2-disc documentary is very well done, and has a lot of great fight footage and commentary. The icing on the cake are the full Robinson vs. LaMotta and Ali vs. Frazier 3 (Thrilla in Manilla) fights. I highly recommend this to all boxing fans out there!
